Thursday morning walks (weekly) - meet at the Bandstand in Hall Leys Park

Here are two walks at the same time around the park and central Matlock area. Walking as part of a small group is a good way to start and keep going. You will make friends, encourage each other and discover new walks in and around your neighbourhood. They are perfect for people who don't fancy intense exercise. You can start off slowly and build up gradually as you get more confident.

Saturday morning walks (weekly) - meet at the Bandstand in Hall Leys Park

This walk is very steady, on good ground and if hills are included they are taken slowly with breaks.  This is a lovely opportunity to walk with a group of people who care about each others wellfare and look after one another.

Fortnightly Hurst Farm Wednesday morning walks - not currently running

Duration: 60 - 90mins

Meet at Hurst Farm Community Centre, 6 Hazel Grove. Come and join us for a nice friendly walk usually on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesday of the month, depending on Bank Holidays. 

Walking’s great for meeting new people and putting a smile on your face. Start at a pace that’s right for you and gradually build up as you get more confident. Tea and coffee afterwards. Bring your Gold Card as we may hop on a bus into Matlock.
