Thursday Monthly walks

Supporting the well-being of Peak District Farming Communities

Walk leaders: Pauline, Kay and John

Time: 1:15pm meet for a 1:30 start time

Duration: ~90 minutes covering about 2-3 miles

Walk description: A gentle monthly afternoon walk with the opportunity for coffee and cake and a good chat afterwards! Our walks are short and steady on good surfaces but may involve some stiles or ascents/descents over a short distance.

In the event of extreme weather conditions, please contact the Farming Life Centre to confirm the walk is going ahead.

• Oct 24th - Chatsworth - meet in the Garden Centre Car park to take a leisurely walk in Chatsworth Park followed by refreshments at the cafe.
• Nov 21st - Monyash - park in the village near to the cafe and pub. We return to walk the beautiful lanes of Monyash. Refreshments at the cafe.
• Dec 12th - Bakewell - meet at the Agricultural centre for our traditional Christmas stroll and refreshments at the Bakewell Pudding Shop
