Thursday Monthly Easy walks 1.15pm – 2.30pm
Supporting the well-being of Peak District Farming Communities
A gentle monthly afternoon walk, on Thursdays. Meet at 1.15pm for 60 - 90 minutes walk, with the opportunity for coffee and cake and a good chat afterwards! Our walks are short and ‘Easy’ on good surfaces but may involve some stiles or ascents/descents over a short distance.
In the event of extreme weather conditions, please contact the Farming Life Centre to confirm the walk is going ahead.
|Thursday April 21st||Bolehill Black Rocks - meet in the car park at the National Stone Centre which is on the B5035 Cromford to Carsington Road DE4 4LS. We will walk on the old railway track (High Peak Trail) towards the stunning natural feature of Black Rocks. Followed as usual by refreshments at the Blue Lagoon.|
|Thursday May 26th||Ashover - meet in the car park attached to Marsh Green farm shop on Matlock Road, Kelstedge S45 0DX. A lovely walk into the charming village of Ashover. Cakes and coffee back at the farm shop.|
|Thursday Jun 30th||Biggin - meet at the Waterloo Inn, Main Street Biggin by Hartington SK17 0DH. A beautiful walk through Biggin Dale followed by refreshments at the Hartington Farm shop and cafe in Hartington|
