Community group exercising

Our Stronger for Longer Class has grown so we have split into 2 classes - Chair Based Exercise and Stronger for Longer. The participants of both classes can still socialise together at tea time between the 2 classes at 1.45 to 2.15pm

Chair Based Exercise Class

A seated exercise class for people who want to improve their core stability, strength and balance. Stronger for Longer

Tuesdays, 2.15pm - 3pm at the Ashbourne Pavilion (Cockayne Ave) £4 - This class is currently full November 2024 - please contact to be added on the waiting list

A gentle exercise class focusing on the Big 6 exercise as part of the Falls prevention programme with balancing and standing exercises. This class will help to improve muscle strength and balance, to help reduce the risk of falls. Suitable for those who may lack mobility & confidence. Matlock Activities

Run to Fitness

Tuesdays 12:15pm to 1pm at Hall Leys Park (meet by Tennis Courts) - £3 per session starting on 26th November.

Join us for a beginners walk to run session, supporting you on your fitness journey. Attend 4 session and get a free entry to our 3K Fun Run on 18th January. Led by a qualified Run Leader.
