Carsington Water ward by-election

While many local councils have elections on 5 May, the only one here in the Derbyshire Dales is a by-election in the District Council's Carsington Water ward.

Four candidates are contesting the vacant seat and polling stations will be open for votes from 7am to 10pm on Thursday 5 May at Atlow Village Hall, Bradbourne Church Hall, Brassington Village Hall, Carsington and Hopton Primary School, Hognaston Village Hall and Kniveton Village Hall.

If you live in the Carsington Water ward and are registered to vote, the polling station where you can vote is listed on your poll card.

The result of the by-election will be announced on Friday 6 May.
