Apply to be Matlock’s visitor information partner

An exciting opportunity has arisen to partner with Derbyshire Dales District Council in delivering information to visitors to Matlock.

The Council is looking for a partner who can offer a warm welcome to visitors to the town, providing free literature and assisting with basic enquiries.

In return, there's the benefit of increased footfall and additional racking to house literature, along with ongoing support to source and provide up to date information, and to know where to look to answer queries.

The opportunity has arisen because Peak Rail, which have provided Matlock's information service since 2012, are relocating their shop to their existing site at Rowsley.

A District Council spokesperson said:
"We thank Peak Rail for being an efficient information delivery partner for the past nine years and we are delighted that they will continue to provide information to visitors from their site in Rowsley."
For further information and to express an interest in working with the Council email nancy.maitland@derbyshiredales.gov.uk or call 01629 761103.

Applicants will receive a simple form to complete, including trading hours and available space.

Unfortunately the District Council is unable to offer any remuneration for this opportunity.
