Dog fouling awareness campaign continues

As part of our ongoing campaign to raise awareness of dog fouling across the Derbyshire Dales our team again patrolled Matlock's Dimple Fields from 7am on Friday (18 June).

The good news is we've seen a definite reduction in the amount of dog mess in this area. The not-so-good news is the amount of general litter our team picked up.

Please don't discard litter in our beautiful open spaces - use the bins provided (there are two on the Dimple) or take your own litter home with you. Thank you.

Next week the campaign to raise awareness of dog fouling will include Wirksworth's Fanny Shaw grounds.

A reminder that you can report a litter or dog fouling hot spot via our online form at www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk/reportdogmess
