Here's what the Tier 3 restrictions mean for all the centres, which are operated on the Council's behalf by Freedom Leisure, with Covid-secure rules in place:
- Children’s Swimming Lessons will restart and continue as pre-lockdown
- Gyms will be open
- Group Exercise classes including Aqua (classes in a pool) cannot take place. Swimming pools will remain open for recreational and lane swimming inc. the very popular 'family bubble sessions' (where applicable) so no need to miss out on your regular swim.
- Soft play centres will be closed
- Clubs and large groups will not be able to take part in Badminton, Squash, Swimming or Indoor Tennis. The 'rule of 6' can still be applied so small groups and families can take part in these sports and activities as before
