Free food caddy liners being delivered
It will take a few weeks to complete the task, which was postponed back in April and May due to workforce pressures caused by the coronavirus lockdown.
Deliveries started this week of a free roll of 52 caddy liners for every household.
We want to continue to encourage you to recycle food waste as recent data indicate that, on average, 35% of the content of grey bins is recyclable.
Your food waste is sent to a local reprocessing plant in Ashbourne, where it is converted into compost for gardens and agriculture.
