A drop-in Health Promotion Day at St Oswald’s Hospital from 9am to 4pm on Wednesday 27 November will include a free Boditrax scan, which measures muscle, fat and water percentages, metabolic age and hidden fat around internal organs.
The event also features free, easy and moderate level 30 minute health walks from the hospital at 10.30am and 1.30pm, plus a 15 minute free stretch and tone taster sessions at 11.30am and 2.30pm.
The District Council's Community Activator Janet Chadfield (pictured) said:"Helping to keep local people fit and healthy is one of our priorities and this event is designed to encourage residents to take the first steps to adopting healthier lifestyles in a low-pressure, friendly environment."
