Flooding was reported to be possible for the River Wye and tributaries from Burbage to the River Derwent at Rowsley, but the EA removed the alert on Saturday morning.
River levels were forecast to rise at the Ashford river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall and localised thunderstorms.
Areas most at risk were low-lying agricultural land and roads including the Ashford and Bakewell areas.
A band of heavy rain, followed by thunderstorms, was expected last evening into Saturday morning.
The Environment Agency are closely monitoring the situation and its incident response staff have cleared weed screens and patrolled watercourses in the area.
