A six-week public consultation has begun on the Private Water Supplies Regulations 2017, open until 24 October.
Changes - proposed by the Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) - include bringing the regulations in line with World Health Organisation principles and will be of interest to those who use or manage private water supplies.
The consultation questions are listed in the online consultation survey, which includes associated documentation.
