On Tuesday 15 November your District Council took part in #OurDay - an annual tweetathon that shows what local government organisations do in a typical day.
We hope #OurDay helped local people learn more about how we deliver the services you value - and you can view the posts and photographs from our Twitter feed below.
On the day our bin teams visited 6,000 Derbyshire Dales homes collecting recycling, household and food waste, we emptied and inspected 400 litter bins, answered 385 phone calls at our Matlock Town Hall HQ, spoke to 57 visitors, dealt with four FOI requests and over 100 email enquiries.
Our Clean & Green Team cleaned and restocked a dozen toilet blocks and carried out winter maintenance on 28 parks and play areas, while our leisure centres provided swimming lessons to more than 670 children.
