Elections count affects Arc opening hours

The count for the 7 May Parliamentary and local elections will affect opening hours at our Arc Leisure Matlock this Thursday and Friday.

Ballot boxYour District Council is responsible here in the Derbyshire Dales for organising Parliamentary, District, Town & Parish elections, as well as a County Council by-election in Ashbourne and a Neighbourhood Plan referendum in Wirksworth.

Arc's main sports hall is being used for the Parliamentary, District and County by-election count, meaning the sports hall itself is unavailable from 4pm on Thursday and the entire centre closes at 6pm for the overnight Parliamentary count. All swimming lessons are unaffected.

On Friday 8 May only Arc's main sports hall will be closed (until 8pm) for the District Council and Ashbourne by-elections counts, both of which start at 1pm.

The Town, Parish and referendum counts will happen at various locations on Saturday.

We apologise for any inconvenience.
