Application under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE DERBYSHIRE DALES DISTRICT COUNCIL HAVE RECEIVED AN APPLICATION FOR A PERMIT UNDER THE Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016:

The company known as Nicklin Biomass Ltd, Marsh Hollow Farm, Shirley Lane, Hollington, Derbyshire, DE6 3GD has applied to Derbyshire Dales District Council for a permit to operate a waste timber combustion process at Marsh Hollow Farm, Shirley Lane, Hollington, Derbyshire, DE6 3GD.

The application has been placed on the public register and can be viewed from online at www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk. Any written comments on the application should be made to the Derbyshire Dales District Council, Bank Road, Matlock, Derbyshire. DE4 3NN or email to Envhealth@derbyshiredales.gov.uk by 30 April 2019. Any written comments will be placed on the public register unless they include a statement requesting that this is not done. If there is such a request the register itself will just include a note that representations have been made which are not on the register because of such a request.

The company known as Slinter Mining Co. Ltd, 187 The Hill, Cromford,  has applied to Derbyshire Dales District Council for a permit to operate a concrete batching process at Slinter Mining Co. Ltd, Pisani Yard, High Peak Junction, Cromford DE4 5HN.

The application has been placed on the public register and can be viewed from online at www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk. Any written comments on the application should be made to the Derbyshire Dales District Council, Bank Road, Matlock, Derbyshire. DE4 3NN or email to Envhealth@derbyshiredales.gov.uk within30 days. Position Statement on recycling of Dolomite at Fine Grinding, Eyam.

A position statement regarding the regulation of the above activity has been released by Derbyshire Dales District Council.  A copy of this statement can be downloaded and read here.  Signed Position Statement [pdf]

 

This Statement allows for the continuation of an activity, whilst the District Council consult with the Environment Agency about a revised waste code classification.
